Lan attended the 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC), held from July 14 to 17, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark. EMBC is the flagship annual conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), serving as a prominent international forum for researchers, clinicians, and professionals at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and biology. The conference brings together a diverse community to exchange the latest advancements in biomedical engineering and related disciplines.
Lan presented their work “A Gradient Boosting Classifier-Based Approach for Automated Sleep Spindle Detection in Rat EEG Recordings” and “A Lightweight CNN-LSTM Approach for Accurate EEG Normal-Abnormal Classification”. It was an inspiring experience to engage with researchers from around the world working in the same field, exchange ideas, and receive valuable feedback.
